Frequently asked questions
Is the system mandatory at my company?
It depends on the purpose and surface area of the space — requirements are set by fire safety legislation, not us. At the evaluation we look at what you have and tell you what we know; for approvals, go to the project, with the designer.
How often should it be checked?
Periodically, and recorded. An unverified fire system is a box on the wall: the batteries run down, the detectors get dusty, and this is only seen when they don't sound. Checks are part of the maintenance contract.
Can it link with burglar alarm?
Yes, to the same exchange or to separate communicating exchanges. The advantage is that you receive all the alerts in the same place.
